Native Grape Varieties

Preserving heritage, celebrating terroir

Barbera del Sannio

Local name: Camaiola

A dark-skinned grape variety that produces our flagship wine. Known for its deep color, rich berry flavors, and elegant tannins. This variety thrives in the Sannio region's unique terroir.

Coda di Volpe

White grape variety

An ancient white grape that produces crisp, mineral-driven wines. The name means "fox's tail" in Italian. Perfect for expressing the limestone-rich soils of our vineyard.

Agostinella

Historic variety - Nearly extinct

A rare white grape variety that was nearly lost to history. We're proud to preserve this heritage variety through our Nove Lune Spumante and Eribiano Passito wines.

Falanghina

Ancient Roman variety

One of the oldest grape varieties in Italy, with roots dating back to Roman times. Used in our Eribiano Passito for its aromatic qualities and natural sweetness.

Aglianico

Southern Italian classic

A prestigious red grape variety produced in smaller quantities. Known for its complexity and aging potential, it adds depth and character to our wine portfolio.

Our Vineyard Mix

80% black | 20% white grapes

Our vineyard composition reflects our commitment to producing diverse wines. This balance allows us to create a full range of expressions while maintaining quality.

Sustainable Winemaking

Every bottle reflects our commitment to the environment

Lightweight Glass

Our bottles are made from lightweight glass to reduce carbon emissions during transportation and production. Every gram counts in our commitment to sustainability.

Plant-Based Cork

We use Nomacorc plant-based closures instead of traditional cork. This reduces environmental impact while maintaining the quality and aging potential of our wines.

Recycled Packaging

All packaging materials are produced from recycled paper. We believe sustainability should extend beyond the wine to every aspect of our business.

Integrated Management

Our vineyards follow the "Piano di Lotta e Difesa Integrata" (Integrated Defense Plan). We use natural methods like Zeolite to manage pests without harmful chemicals.

Low-Yield Farming

We intentionally reduce our yields to focus on quality. This sustainable approach ensures healthier vines and more concentrated, expressive wines.

Future Generations

Our sustainability practices are designed to preserve the land for future generations. We believe in being stewards of the terroir, not just extractors of its resources.
